School and other Educational Visits

Bristol & West Progressive Jewish Congregation would be pleased to host your group.

Visits are arranged for a mutually suitable time. Please give us plenty of notice so that we can find a volunteer to host your visit.

Groups that have visited us in the past include: primary and secondary school classes, Scouts and Guides, groups doing GCSE and A level in Religious Education, PGCE university students, groups from other faiths, local branches of political parties, Police trainees, Mother Unions, WI chapters, etc…

Although our building is modest, we can give a brief overview of Liberal Judaism, show our Torah Scrolls, and provide an opportunity to ask questions. Talks can be tailored to individual groups’ needs and interests.

We ask for £50 per session.

If you would like to arrange for a school or other group visit to the synagogue, or for a member of our congregation to come to your school or organisation, please download the Visit Request Form and email a completed version back to: visits@bwpjc.org or contact us at the same address for more information.

Thank you. We look forward to meeting you!
