All are welcome to attend this free film screening of Barbra Streisand’s Oscar-winning film, Yentl (15) at the University of Plymouth. Set in turn of the century Eastern Europe it tells the story of Yentl, a girl desperate to study when the world of study belonged only to men and so in order to achieve her dreams she disguises herself as a man and joins a Yeshiva in the city finding love and almost losing herself along the way.
